Possibly the biggest shoe trend for spring and summer last year was the platform.
And this trend is definitely not going anywhere for summer 2019. Designers including Jil Sander, Gabriela Hearst and Phillip Lim featured platform sandals in their runway shows.

Below I’m wearing it with a feminine outfit. I love how the bulky wedges make this outfit a little less girly and a bit more edgy. The shoes add extra height and are still super comfortable.
